Dinah founded Pivot Sport Medicine and co-founded Pivot Dancer. With a background in classical ballet, she specializes in dancers and artistic athletes, offering expertise in pointe shoe fit and movement mechanics. She is a faculty member at U of T’s Physical Therapy program and has served as a Team Canada therapist at the Olympics, Paralympics, and World University Games. Her practice blends orthopedic and pelvic floor assessment for complete muscular patterning. She is passionate about helping all clients achieve high performance.
Hannah is a physiotherapist with a background in dance and a B.Sc. (Hons.) in Human Kinetics from St. Francis Xavier University, followed by an M.Sc. in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto. Her clinical internships included spinal cord injuries, amputations, athletics, and oncology, giving her a strong appreciation for personalized, client-centered care. She combines hands-on treatment, exercise, and education to help clients reach their goals. Hannah has completed her Level 1 & 2 Manual Therapy certification and plans to pursue further training in pelvic floor therapy. Outside work, she enjoys the gym, golfing, exploring Toronto, and visiting family.
Claire is a physical therapist with a background in dance and a passion for movement and health. She holds a B.H.K. (Hons.) in Movement Science from the University of Windsor and an M.P.T. from Western University. Her clinical experience spans oncology, pediatrics, occupational health, and sports rehab. Claire takes a patient-centered approach, using education, exercise, and manual therapy to help clients reach their goals. She is committed to evidence-based practice and ongoing learning in manual therapy and taping. Outside of work, she enjoys dance, spin, yoga, and running.

Autumn is a Midwest-based Comprehensively Certified Pilates Instructor and former professional ballerina. She blends fitness, rehab, and performing arts experience, as well as ongoing research in ballet psychology and physiology all to create an open, confidence-building space for all levels. She loves Pilates for its focus on alignment, posture, flexibility, and strength.

Caroline is a physiotherapy student at Hochschule Bochum (Germany) and a former professional ballet dancer trained at Canada's National Ballet School. Her performance career spanned the Royal Winnipeg Ballet, Tivoli Ballet Theatre, Royal Danish Opera, and German companies in Würzburg and Dortmund. This summer, she is completing a clinical internship in dance physiotherapy at Pivot Sport Medicine and Orthopaedics, where she will also teach "Turn Lab." Passionate about injury prevention and rehab, she is dedicated to keeping athletes performing at their best.

Sarah is a former company member of The National Ballet of Canada and a graduate of Canada's National Ballet School. Her professional career includes guesting with Dutch National Ballet, performing with BalletMet, and freelance work in NYC. She currently serves as a Pivot Dancer Expert, faculty member and rehearsal director at New York Dance Project, and director of the ballet program at Company Dance Traverse. She also teaches private lessons, choreographs, and facilitates guided meditation.
Maeve received her doctorate of physical therapy from Mary Baldwin University and her BFA in dance and choreography from Virginia Commonwealth University. She has a passion for working with performing artists of all levels which has taken her to work with artists in Richmond, Chicago, and on tour with a Broadway musical. Maeve focuses on functionality to help her clients keep doing what they love. In her free time she enjoys reading, crocheting, and traveling to new places.
Selene Guerro-Trillo is a Second Soloist with the National Ballet of Canada. Selene is fluent in both English and Spanish and offers private ballet coaching in both languages.
Jordan Elizabeth Long is a Principal Soloist with Miami City Ballet, with a career spanning Dutch National Ballet, Royal Swedish Ballet, and international galas. Her repertoire includes leading roles in Swan Lake, Giselle, Balanchine's The Nutcracker, Serenade, and Jewels. A Gold Medalist at the World Ballet Competition and recipient of the Louis Gallodier Prize, she also holds a B.S. in Business Administration and an MBA.

Abbey is a former competitive dancer from Oakville, ON, who trained through scoliosis, giving her deep insight into dance’s physical demands and the value of smart cross-training. She holds a B.Sc. in Kinesiology from McMaster (varsity dancer, Conditioning Coordinator) and a MPT from Western. Through Pivot Dancer, she combines clinical expertise with dance experience to help dancers build strength, resilience, and injury resilience, treating them as the athletes they are.

Erika is a Registered Kinesiologist (B.Kin., R.Kin). She holds certifications in Pre & Post-Natal Coaching and Progressing Ballet Technique. Since 2011, she has trained individuals one-on-one and instructed group classes in metabolic conditioning, balance, stability, and pelvic floor health. She currently serves as the Strength & Conditioning Coach for Lakeshore Swim Club and teaches Pivot Dancer classes. Erika is passionate about helping clients build fundamental movement patterns for strength, grace, and ease in everyday life through a holistic and enjoyable training approach.

Sarah, RD, B.Sc. (Hon.), is a Registered Dietitian with over a decade of experience in weight management and metabolic health. She holds certifications in Diabetes Education, Adult Weight Management, and Childhood/Adolescent Weight Management. Her prevention-focused, compassionate approach supports clients across all life stages, from pregnancy to active living, helping them achieve realistic health goals.
Luke, a former pentathlete turned osteopathic practitioner, holds an Honours B.A. in Kinesiology from Western University and trained at the Canadian College of Osteopathy. His background in sports medicine includes working with athletes in MLB, the English Premier League, and the Bundesliga. He currently serves as the osteopathic manual practitioner for the Curacao Men's National Soccer Team and sits on the board of the Ontario Association of Osteopathic Manual Practitioners.

Kristen is an entrepreneur, ballet teacher, and former dancer who has owned Attitude Dance & Active Wear in Norwalk, CT for over 20 years. Known for her expertise in holistic pointe shoe fittings, she has built a loyal local and international clientele. She lectures and hosts workshops for teachers and students and serves as a freelance fitter for Nikolay. She has taught for 15 years at The Academy of Ballet Etudes and is currently Associate Dean of Dance at The Norwalk Conservatory.
Diana Eden started performing professionally at the age of fifteen with the National Ballet of Canada. She danced professionally on Broadway and then continued her career as an actress, three-time Emmy-nominated costume designer, speaker, university professor, and writer.As one of Pivot Dancer’s experts, she consults on Costumes for Dancers and is available to advise, style, and guide dancers and choreographers on anything related to their costumes.In 2020, she published her memoir Stars in Their Underwear: My Unpredictable Journey from Broadway Dancer to Costume Designer for some of Hollywood’s Biggest Stars and is currently working on a sequel.
Nathaniel is an LA-based actor, singer, and circus artist. A Yale graduate, he has performed in 55 countries without any major injuries and combines his education in theatre, ballet, and circus to create movement-based characters and pieces. He loves teaching and regularly gives workshops on stage presence, intention-based movement, and skill integration.
Dr. Brooke Winder is a Southern California-based physical therapist specializing in pelvic floor and orthopedic health for performing artists. She is Associate Professor & Coordinator of the Dance Science program at CSU Long Beach and owner of Renew Motion Physical Therapy Inc. A Board-Certified Orthopedic Specialist (OCS), BASI-Certified Pilates Instructor, and NSCA-Certified Strength Specialist (CSCS), she helps performers optimize movement and manage hypermobility. Her research has been published in leading journals, and she teaches continuing education on pelvic health for artistic athletes. She earned her DPT from USC.
