Pivot Dancer is thrilled to announce a new fundraising initiative aimed at supporting the Canadian Contemporary Dance Theatre (CCDT). Our collaboration with CCDT began when Artistic Director Deborah Lundmark identified a need for enhanced injury prevention strategies for dancers. Over the past two seasons and during the Sundance intensive, we have integrated a science-based dance physiotherapy cross-training program into their curriculum, yielding noticeable improvements in the dancers’ performance.

Recognizing the challenges dancers face in accessing high-quality support, we have designed Pivot Dancer as a primarily virtual platform. By eliminating travel and facility costs, we can offer top-notch resources at a fraction of the price. Our platform features content created by dance experts from around the globe, making it the only comprehensive resource of its kind. Remarkably, a full year of membership costs about the same as a single physiotherapy assessment!

Our fundraising initiative arises from our deep appreciation for CCDT and its vital role in the dance community. To contribute, we’ve created a special code—CCDTFUNDRAISER—that will donate 20% of every purchase made on Pivot Dancer when you use this code.
