Growing up in Nova Scotia, Hannah started dancing at age 3 and continued performing until the end of high school. Hannah then completed an Honours Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics with Distinction at St. Francis Xavier University in Antigonish, Nova Scotia. Here, Hannah was a part-time ballet teacher and part of the Student Athletic Therapy program where she worked with various sports teams, with a focus on the cross country teams. Through this program, she gained skills in injury prevention, taping, and return to sport.
Following her time at St. Francis Xavier, Hannah completed a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto. Throughout this degree, she had a variety of clinical internships working with various populations, such as those with spinal cord injuries, amputations, athletic injuries, and oncological clients.
This experience has given Hannah an appreciation for client-specific goal-setting and personalized treatment. Hannah uses a combination of hands-on treatment, exercise, and education to help clients reach these goals.
Since graduating, Hannah has completed her Level 1 certification in manual therapy and her pelvic floor certification. She is looking forward to doing more pelvic floor and manual therapy courses. In her spare time, Hannah enjoys HIIT classes, golfing, exploring new Toronto neighborhoods, and catching up with her family across the country.
