Amy’s journey in dance began at Canada’s National Ballet School, where she trained intensively in the Professional Ballet Program from grades 6 through 12. Her passion for ballet was matched by her motivation to understand the mind-body connection, leading her to pursue a Bachelor’s in Psychology from the University of Waterloo, where she graduated in 2024.
Now, Amy combines her academic background with her love for teaching ballet, focusing on strength, flexibility, and the overall well-being of her students. She understands firsthand the challenges young dancers face, both physically and mentally, and brings her experience as a former dancer and young professional to nurture and guide the next generation of dancers.
Amy is excited to share her knowledge and help aspiring dancers build the resilience, grace, and strength they need for a successful future in ballet and beyond.
