As physiotherapists, we began to recognize patterns of dysfunction and injury in young dancers coming to our clinic for rehabilitation. The Strong Dancer Program was developed to offer strengthening and movement pattern education to dancers in a fun, collaborative environment to aid in injury prevention and improve performance. This program lead to the creation of Pivotdancer, an online platform allowing access to our training programs to dancers everywhere and serving as an educational tool for well-rounded, healthy athletes.
